Corporate Chic 2.

The second in the series - this week looking at alternatives to standard skirts. Luckily there are so many options out there now you don't need to settle for a conventional black pencil skirt. Find a compliment of bright, bold and stylish pieces below

This skirt from Zara is so lovely. It is a bold colour so perhaps easier to wear with a shirt or another long sleeve top - off white/ cream would look lovely

Another winner from Zara - this high waist skirt with contrasting topstitching detailing has lovely front patch pockets and a gorgeous front split, it has a great 70s feel to it

A more expensive option but totally gorgeous skirt from Acne. I adore the asymmetric wrap design. This will look as gorgeous with a shirt, as it will a bight sweater or a polo neck. Enjoy!

A slightly more whimsical choice from J.Crew. I love gingham and the seƱorita flounce will add a little personality to any office

A bright colour and pattern from Self-Portrait for the corporate world, however, you can easily tone it down by pairing it with a laid-back top. No-one said office wear needed to be boring, right? Perhaps more suitable for dress down Fridays.....?

This is a lovely voluminous skirt from Cos. I like it with a more laid back top like a tee and may be some stacked brogues to dress it down but still feel office ready

I'm a fan of a pleated skirt and really like the circular/ geometric pattern on this stylish and proper enough for office wear
